Understand what may be happening
Start with a clear explanation—not assumptions
Therapeutic yoga at The Praana Co. is one-to-one or small-scale, planned around your health context and goals. It focuses on mobility, strength, breath and body awareness, and sits within a broader integrated approach. It complements, rather than replaces, medical or physiotherapy care.
Private, respectful and consent-led
You should understand why any assessment is being suggested and what it involves. Sensitive examination is never automatic and should only happen when appropriate, with your informed consent.
Our approach
Care built with you, not simply given to you
Begin with a conversation about your health context, current medical care and priorities.
Explain what movement and wellness support can—and cannot—offer, in clear language.
Build an individualized plan of movement, breath and practical habits within practitioner scope.
Review regularly and coordinate with your doctor or specialist where appropriate.
Your appointment
What can care work toward?
The focus depends on your assessment and priorities. Goals may include understanding symptoms, improving movement or coordination, managing discomfort, building capacity and returning to meaningful activities with greater confidence.
Your first visit
- A conversation about symptoms and goals
- Explanation of appropriate assessment options
- Time for questions and shared decisions
- An initial plan you understand
